SECTION 1: ABOUT
Created in memory of Daphne Mozeley, the Next Set Scholarship exists to remove financial barriers so athletes can keep pursuing the sport they love. We believe the right support at the right time can change an athlete’s entire trajectory - on the court and in life.
Mission
Provide meaningful support that keeps athletes on the court- building confidence, opportunity, and community.
What “Next Set” Means
A fresh chance - another rally, another season, another step forward, no matter what life throws your way.
How Funds Are Raised & Used
Funds for the Daphne Mozeley Next Set Scholarship are raised through our grass volleyball tournaments and an annual fundraiser and scholarship event. These community-driven efforts allow us to directly reinvest in athletes who need financial support to continue playing the sport they love.
To ensure accountability and maximum impact, scholarship awards are typically paid directly to a program, club, or approved vendor to cover expenses such as registration fees, uniforms, training, and verified travel costs.
