We understand that payouts can be an important factor when deciding which tournaments to play. To provide consistency and transparency, we have established the following payout structure, which will apply to all tournaments unless a specific event lists a different payout structure.

Payouts are calculated based on the actual registration revenue collected within each division.

STANDARD PAYOUT PERCENTAGES

  • Open

    • 100% of division revenue

    • Up to 120% of division revenue when the division has fewer than 12 teams

    • An additional 5% of revenue from each AA, A, and BB division is contributed toward the Open payout

  • AA

    • 75% of division revenue

  • A

    • 40% of division revenue

  • BB

    • 25% of division revenue

HOW DIVISION REVENUE IS CALCULATED

Division revenue is based on the actual registration fees collected, not simply the number of teams registered. Complimentary entries, free registrations, discounts, credits, or other entries for which full registration revenue was not collected will not be counted as full-price revenue when calculating payouts.

The examples below show how the payout structure may work based on actual collected revenue.

DOUBLES EXAMPLE

OPEN — 10 Teams

  • Revenue Collected: $800 (960)

  • Additional 5% Contributions from Divisions: $242

  • Open Payout: $1,202

 

Because the Open division has fewer than 12 teams, it is eligible for a payout of up to 120% of its collected division revenue.

AA — 18 Teams

  • Revenue Collected: $1,280 (Accounts for 4 players receiving complimentary entry)

  • 5% Contribution to Open: $64

  • AA Payout: $912

 

A — 28 Teams

  • Revenue Collected: $1,880 (Accounts for 2 players receiving complimentary entry)

  • 5% Contribution to Open: $94

  • A Payout: $714

 

BB — 24 Teams

  • Revenue Collected: $1,680

  • 5% Contribution to Open: $84

  • BB Payout: $399

 

TRIPLES EXAMPLE

Open — 4 Teams

  • Revenue Collected: $480 576

  • Additional 5% Contributions from Divisions: $271.50

  • Open Payout: $848

 

Because the Open division has fewer than 12 teams, it is eligible for a payout of up to 120% of its collected division revenue, plus the applicable contributions from other divisions.

AA — 14 Teams

  • Revenue Collected: $1,520 (Accounts for 4 players receiving complimentary entry)

  • 5% Contribution to Open: $76

  • AA Payout: $1,083

 

A — 20 Teams

  • Revenue Collected: $2,020 (Accounts for 2 players receiving complimentary entry)

  • 5% Contribution to Open: $101

  • A Payout: $767.60

 

BB — 18 Teams

  • Revenue Collected: $1,890

  • 5% Contribution to Open: $94.50

  • BB Payout: $449​
